  Full briefing markdown + metadata for one edition. ``slug`` is the YYYY-MM-DD edition date from list_digests; omitting it returns the LATEST edition. The payload also carries ``export_html_url`` and ``export_pdf_url`` — pregenerated offline downloads of the edition ready to fetch. Pass ``region`` (the regional pilot, same as the site's ?region=) for a region's view: a generated per-region edition when one exists, else the master filtered to that region; ``regions`` in the payload lists what the edition offers.

  The episodes a given edition references (title + show + published date + episode ids) — the cheapest way to map a week. Omitting ``slug`` returns the latest edition's episodes. Pass ``region`` for a region's reading list (the regional pilot, same as the site's ?region=); the payload's ``regions`` lists what the edition offers.

Pass ``lang`` (a supported language code) for the episode's translated title, summary, and transcript when the translations exist — ``lang`` in the payload echoes what was actually served ('' = English original).
